Dr. Sylva-Michèle Sternkopf, Owner & Creative Translation Director
Language has always been my world. That’s why I definitely had to pack up and move to London for a year when I was studying English. I wanted the English language to become second nature to me. While in London, I worked in the marketing department of a large international hotel. And the fire was lit – for advertising, international seminars and translations. It was suddenly obvious what I wanted to do after university. And I made it happen. After five years’ professional experience as a Business English trainer, I founded Sternkopf Communications in 2000, got my doctorate in international marketing in 2004 “on the side” and gradually built up an international clientele of companies, most of which rank among the top 100 companies in the global economy. Today, I am proud to have a first-rate, hand-picked team of experienced translators and project managers working alongside me in our beautifully restored manor, the Villa Gückelsberg, Germany. The fire now burns brighter than ever before and I would love to share some of its sparks with you!
